Mission of the Grace Dart Extended Care Centre
The Grace Dart Extended Care Centre is a public establishment of 357 beds of the Centre intégré universitaire de soins et de service sociaux (CIUSSS) de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.
Its mission consists of:
To provide, in a warm and quality of care environment, permanent, temporary or transitional housing services to adults with loss of autonomy who mainly come from Montreal’s English-speaking community
The Grace Dart Extended Care Centre (the Centre) aims to become a leader in care and services, teaching and research offered to adults admitted to long term care.
Since its foundation, the Centre pursues a tradition devoted to services to sick people and those with loss of autonomy of the Montreal Anglophone community. It will continue to respect and pursue this tradition by taking care of the adults that are referred to it.
Keep our residents and their families and loved ones at the centre of our concerns and our efforts;
Provide the best care and services with respect and dignity;
Provide a safe and pleasant living environment;
Work together with professionalism, integrity, and mutual respect.
